[ LED Lighting: the advantages ]
■ Long-lasting: 70 % lumen output maintenance after 40,000 hours at 80° C (Tc)
■ Energy-efficient: over 80 lm/W.
■ Directional light: no wastage, higher fixture efficiency
■ Environment-friendly: no lead, mercury or other heavy metals
■ Tough: no fi lament that can break
■ Cold-resistant: no problems starting at cold temperatures
■ Instant start: nanoseconds – much faster than high intensity discharge lamps
■ Controllable: infi nitely dimmable and controllable for power savings
■ Colour reproducibility: CRI > 90, i.e. close to natural colours

■ Residential lighting
e.g. indoor and outdoor, decorative and functional
■ Commercial building lighting
e.g. hotels, restaurants, bars, hospitals, museums, airports, schools, architectural, spot and landscape applications
■ Retail lighting
e.g. cosmetics, jewellery, refrigerated displays
■ Public lighting
e.g. streets, parking lots and garages, train stations, bridges, tunnels
■ Industrial lighting
e.g. factories, storage facilities, warehouses, parking areas, security applications
■ Emergency vehicles and safety applications
